Reach to Final round in ASME Student Mechanism and Robot Design Competition
The "Meso-Gripper" project reaches to final round in competition organized by ASME. Guochao Bai was one of twelve finalists during this international competition. He was selected as one of three teams in Graduate Mechanism Division. The National Science Foundation will provide funding to support the travel costs.
The ASME Student Mechanism and Robot Design Competition is an excellent opportunity for both undergraduate and graduate students to showcase their ability to design and build a mechanism or a robot.
The final round that takes place at the 2016 ASME International Design Engineering Technical Conferences in Charlotte, NC, USA from August 21–24, 2016. Each team makes an oral presentation describing their entry. They are also allotted display space for an interactive poster and prototype presentation.
