Living Machines 2016 Poster Event

The 5th International Conference on Biomimetic and Biohybrid Systems (Living machine 2016) was hosted at the Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh, Scotland. 19th to 22nd July 2016.

It is the first time to take part in conference refering to bio- topic. In this conference, I proposed a new design method to mimic human finger joint, which attracted attentions from bristol-based group for tactile sensor, stanford for underwater manipulation and group firstly built android baby at Osaka Uni. This conference is a good start to build network with bioengineers from worldwide universities. The four days' workshop and conference provide me a lot of insights on new approaches of design, control, sensor and soft material. Talks with scholars from world wide are also interesting and lucky.
